Available for Pre-order and due for release on 26/11/2007, this single disc edition of the movie based on Frank Miller’s comic book of the same name is currently selling for half the price of its two disc counterpart. Its not just HMV that are selling it cheaply, but they are certainly the cheapest at time of writing. A great movie in my opinion and an ideal stocking filler at this price.

Its a region 2 and 4 Set which means its probably sourced from Down Under, but will play on all Region 2 (UK) DVD players. Need a hero? Or maybe a box of them? Well you will shortly be able to get the entire first season of Heroes on Region 2 DVD, but as with most TV Series boxsets they dont come cheap when they are first released. Of course over here in the UK we have the dubious pleasure of being able to pay in installments thanks to the irritating way the studio’s tend to release them in 2 parts. This weeks offer of the week from HMV includes the complete boxset of the antics of Gary and Tony (and formerly Harry Enfield as Dermot), the original men behaving badly. This was one of the most popular sitcoms of the nineties, and certainly a firm favourite in my household.
