Amazon have finally reduced the Series 1-3 boxset of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. In a series that blends scfi drama with comprehensive characterisation and social commentary, covering issues such as terrorism and civil liberties. This is the re-working of the cult series from the 1970s; beefed up with a new cast and more devious bad guys, Androids called Cylons have massacred billions of people, leaving only a small group of survivors. Led by Oscar nominees Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell, the human fleet searches for a mythical planet called Earth as they evade the Cylons. Features the first three series of the show.
