Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla was not as well received as the eponymous Lock Stock and 2 Smokin Barrels, but then this is probably his finest film to date. RocknRolla is another example of the gangland drama’s typical of Madonna’s Ex-Hubby. This time a Russian mobster arranges a dodgy land deal worth millions of dollars, and most of London’s criminal underworld wants a piece of the action. Everyone from a dangerous crime lord to a sexy accountant, a corrupt politician and down-on-their-luck petty thieves conspire, collude and collide with one another in an effort to get rich quick.
Not everyone’s cup of tea but the The Hut are currently selling it for only £6.93, which at time of writing is £4 cheaper than the next best price at Movie Mail.
