After watching a episode of Jonathan Creek at the weekend with the kids, I thought I’d look into buying the box set.

The popular BBC drama series is about Jonathan Creek (Alan Davies)  a magician with a natural ability for solving puzzles. He soon puts this ability to another use, solving murders. Working from his home in a converted windmill, he teams up with a  journalist  played by Caroline Quentin and later by Julia Sawalha. Jonathan is called upon to solve a series of what appear to be unsolveable crimes.

Extras include the documentary ‘Long Hair and Duffel Coat’, a commentary by director Marcus Mortimer and writer David Renwick, Alan Davies’ and Caroline Quentin’s screen tests and deleted scenes.
