This spin off is a more adult based series then the much loved Doctor Who. This superb box set brings together every episode from the series. The torchwood team are separate from the government, outside the police and beyond the United Nations. Everyone who works for Torchwood is under the age of 35. Some say that’s because it’s a new science, but others say it’s because they die young. A great series for all Captain Jack fans.

Well how diappointed am I? Very! I only bought this box set for a birthday present last week for £13.85. The complete second series featuring David Tennant as the tenth ‘regenerated’ Doctor Who. Included in the set is The Christmas Invasion, Christmas trees and seasonal Santa Claus impersonators begin wreaking havoc on the residents of London. Meanwhile the Tardis lands on Earth with a new Doctor aboard. The Doctor is not yet fully recovered from regeneration. An invasion of the planet threatens mankind and there’s only the Prime Minister to battle it out.
This DVD box set includes the first four Batman movies. Frank Miller’s graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns was the inspiration for the first movie Batman in 1989. When Peep Show first hit the screens in 2003 it was a breath of fresh air and I loved it. Subsequently it has gone on to secure its share of comedy and television awards (although it does seem to lose more than it wins, or – thats the impression I get anyway). However its cult popularity means that Channel 4 have comissioned at least another 2 series and will run until 2012.
