Ok, probably should have posted this earlier, but the day job gets in the way sometimes… CDWoW are having another one of their 24 Hour sales and unlike some of the others this ones actually pretty good. They have had the complete season 2 of Dr Who for £19.99 but that on seems to have sold out now. However there are plenty of titles from £3.99 including the James Bond Special editions.

Another CDWOW 24 hour sale. This one looks a little more promising than the previous sale they had, with CDWoW claiming that the full sale will run for the duration of Monday the 10th of December, with new titles being added hourly. so you need to keep checking back to check the latest bargain CDs, DVDs and Games.

At the moment, and remember Im writing this on Sunday night so theoretically the prices havent been reduced yet, but hilights include some decent prices on TV Boxsets such as Scrubs, Gilmore Girls and Charmed

Now technically this sales doesn’t start until tomorrow, but it appears as though CDWOW have kicked it off early again, just to keep us on the hop. It’s early days so I don’t know if this is the complete sale, but so far items of note are Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Oceans 13 for £9.99 (Both region 2 I hasten to add) Most of the other titles are not as recent as these 2 but there are some noteworthy bargains nevertheless, for example Donny Darko the Directors Cut for £3.99, or Time Bandits also £3.99. One for those of you with Multi-region Capable DVDs. I know that a good number of you are looking for Ratatouille on DVD. We’ve been getting Ratatouille related traffic since I posted about the competition to win a holiday to Paris with play.com. It just so happens that you can actually get a perfectly legal copy of the current Box office number one Movie on Region 3 DVD. CDWOW are selling it for £9.99 and so long as you have a multi region DVD player you will be able to play it just fine.

A scrawny rat named Remy (voice of Patton Oswalt) finds his dreams of culinary superstardom stirring up sizable controversy in the kitchen of a fine French restaurant in director Brad Bird’s madcap computer-animated comedy.

It’s hard being a rat with culinary aspirations, but Remy is convinced he has what it takes to break the stereotypes and follow in the footsteps of star chef Auguste Gusteau (voice of Brad Garrett). As fate would have it, Remy is currently situated in the sewers directly beneath Gusteau’s elegant restaurant. Soon Remy teams up with a young chef with little talent named Linguini (voice of Lou Romano). Together they are able to create some fabulous dishes, but they live in fear that someone will discover their secret and object strenuously to a rat being in a kitchen. When Remy’s passion for cooking turns the haughty world of French cuisine upside down, the rat who would be king of the kitchen learns important lessons about life, friends, and family while questioning whether he should pursue his culinary calling or simply go back underground and return to his life as a sewer rat.
