After weeks of speculation Sony have finally unveiled the Slim Playstation 3 Console. The internet has been buzzing over the last few days after a number of ‘gaffs’ from high profile retailers lead to the console being listed for sale a whole 2 weeks early, but as of now you can officially (i think) pre-order the Sony PlayStation 3 Slim Console (120GB Model) from Amazon for the somewhat slimline price of £249.99.

Now that the 80GB PS3 has been launched and with news of the upcoming 160GB console to be released in October, the prices of the 40GB console are starting to come down. The only difference between this and the 80GB model is the size of the hard disk, and the fact that the Controller shipped with the 40GB doesn’t have rumble capability.
