40GB PS3 for only £248 delivered

September 20th, 2008

Now that the 80GB PS3 has been launched and with news of the upcoming 160GB console to be released in October, the prices of the 40GB console are starting to come down. The cheapest place to get one right now is digital direct, who have the 40GB PS3 listed at £244.01, but you can get a further £6 off this price by using the discount code DD6OFFPS3, making the price £238.01 + £9.99 for delivery and its still a very nice £248 for the most powerful console on the block.

The only difference between this and the 80GB model is the size of the hard disk, and the fact that the Controller shipped with the 40GB doesn’t have rumble capability. However upgrading the Hard disk to 160GB and more is a piece of cake and can be done separately at a later time, and you can always put the Dualshock 3 on your Christmas List. If you want the best console for the best price right then this is the ideal solution.
