In the third and final series of this award winning comedy, we find Gavin and Stacey have moved to Wales. Stacey couldn’t be happier now she’s back with her mum Gwen, her uncle Bryn and a daily diet of omelettes. Gavin is finding life in Barry difficult, and although he won’t admit it, he’s missing his parents Pam and Mick and of course, his best friend Smithy.
Smithy is also finding life in Essex hard without Gav, and is trying to get used to the fact that his son, Neil the baby, is now living in a caravan with mum Nessa and soon-to-be stepfather Dave Coaches. This is a blast from the past! Nicholas Lyndhurst plays Mr Gary Sparrow, an ordinary man with an extraordinary life. By day a very bored and uninspired TV repairman, but by night an accidental time traveller. Among the anonymous streets of Whitechapel you will find a strange alley called Duckett’s Passage. It looks like any other alleyway, but not for Gary Sparrow it leads to a war torn London, to barrage balloons and the Blitz, and, in particular, to a little pub called The Royal Oak, to a lonely barmaid called Phoebe.
