Cheap DVDs.Spaced.jpg Ok, so after a short break I’m back in business with the bargain posts. Hope you haven’t missed me too much and the price comparison has kept your appetite for bargains sated. I don’t think we’ve missed too many bargains over the last week or so, although I know Amazon had a few hours of madness last week when a lot of their boxsets started to show up priced at £17.97 regardless of age or number of volumes. Still it looks like they clamped down on that one pretty sharply and if anyone managed to get their hands on any bargains then they were the lucky ones. Back to today though and Simon Pegg fans should be happy with this one. Tesco jersey are selling the individual series 1 and series 2 boxsets of Spaced for a mere £3 each. The series in which Pegg made a name for himself:

`Spaced` is the story of two very different people, enthusiastic but directionless Daisy Steiner and grumpy, broken hearted skateboarder, Tim Bisley - two twenty-somethings who pretend to be a professional couple to secure the tenancy of a North London flat. As the pair grow closer, the potent mix of their friends, interests and ambitions lead them into a world more bizarre than childhood and a lifetime away from being grown up. Keep telling yourself … `It`s only a sitcom`.

Personally I already own the Complete Boxset so theres little point in me getting this, but if you’ve never seen this series then I can highly recommend it.
Buy Spaced Series 1 and series 2 from tesco Jersey today.

I would advise all potential buyers to stay well clear of Tesco and Tesco Jersey they are advertising cheap dvd’s and they are cheap but they have not got them in stock and keep e-mailing me saying that they are just keeping me informed regarding the situation. They then keep increasing the new delivery date and on one occasion they cancelled my order saying that they could not obtain this title and I then informed them that six other internet companies had this particular dvd in stock. I have now been waiting 5 weeks for one of my orders. I have e-mailed them on six separate occasions telling them what an awful company I think they are. I purchase a lot of dvd’s and most companies are very good. But Tesco’s are dreadful.

Never had a problem with them myself. And Gerard, you’ve already told us about your problems with tesco here and here.

Hi Badwolf I am glad that you have never had a problem with Tesco I should add that all my problems have been with Tesco Jersy and I have 18 e-mails from them as living proof. But speak as you find and I promise I will not mention it any more.
