The Disney BOGOF offer has been running for most of October, but it seems HMV have at least have tired of this and instead are offering some classic Disney titles at knock down prices instead.

Its that time of year again. The Annual Disney BOGOF offer starts today and a lot of the usual suspects are running with offer, while at the same time upping their prices to £15 for one DVD. I guess this is to be expected, after all that still works out at around £7.50 per dvd doesn’t it - still a bargain.

Surprisingly though, Amazon aren’t following this trend and are currently offering the likes of

Been waiting for this one to drop beneath a tenner since it was released. Just had an email thanks to the DVD Bargain Alerts Pricewatch telling me that its now available for £9.89 from Sendit. Not to bad for a 2 Disc Special Edition. Most other paces still seem to be selling it for around £14

Disneys Jungle Book reached its 40th anniversary last year and to celebrate good old Walt decided to cash in with a 2 Disc Special edition re-released from the vault of disney for a limited period only. Of course back then it £14.99 and an Ideal Christmas present for the little ones, right now its £5.99 at CDWoW and and ideal time to add it to your collection.

Disneys timeless classic Peter Pan, available now on 2 Disc Special Edition DVD from www.DVD.co.uk for only £8.95. A great price for this since the next best is £14.99 at Powerplay direct.

Released from Disney’s Vault of Cash for the first time since the last time they released it in 2000, comes the Classic Animated tale 101 Dalmations. Due for release on 3rd of March, but currently not very attractively priced - the best I can find for this 2 Disc Platinum edition at time of writing is £13.93 at the Hut. However there’s still time for this to change, so what I’m going to do is add this title to my pricewatch list with a target price of say £10 if it drops below that then I’ll receive an email letting me know and I’ll update this post accordingly. HMV are running a Disney DVD offer at the moment, touted as Disney Classics from £3.99. To be honest the £3.99 entries are mostly straight to DVD titles but still quite decent all the same. For £3.99 you can get Tarzan and Jane, The Three Musketeers, Atantis 2:Milos Return along with some Disney Fables and Mickey and Donald Compilations. From £4.99 you can get the Disney sequels like Kronks new Groove, the Hunchback of Notre Dame 2 and Pocahontas 2. A good selection for a decent starting price. Well worth checking out.

If like me you are being brow-beaten by your daughter (or son!) to get hold of High School Musical 2, then I thought this post might help you out. At the time of writing the best price I can find is at Woolworths where it costs £10.97. Not the greatest bargain in the world, but not exactly bank breaking either.
